First Congregational Church hosts a wide variety of community events and activities throughout the year including: Fall Harvest Festivals, choral concerts, cooking classes, neighborhood meetings, gardening workshops, and even theatrical performances. All events held at First Congregational go to further our mission of creating a healthy and vibrant community. Mondays: Capital Pride Singers Weekly Rehearsal
Tuesdays: De-Stress and Shape Up with Yoga!
Thursdays: Recovery International
Choir rehearsal (open to everyone)

Farmers Market (Spring through early October)

On Saturday we were treated to another amazing Christmas concert from Albany Gay Men's Chorus ! Our sanctuary was jam-packed with wonderful music, an enthusiastic audience, and the Christmas spirit!
First Congregational is excited to welcome Qodesh Family Church ! Qodesh is a local congregation from Ghana who have been looking for space to hold their services in our neighborhood. Starting tomorrow, Qodesh will be using Palmer Hall for their services (which will be held after ours ... theirs will start at 12:30pm on Sundays after our coffee hour). First Congregational is looking forward to welcoming Qodesh to our neighborhood... come by Sunday afternoons and say hello !!
Our Saturday Farmers Market!
First Congregational Church is thrilled to announce the return of our weekly Farmer's Market!
Every Saturday, the market will be held from 9am until 1pm on the church lawn on the corner of Quail and Woodlawn.
First Congregational Church is very excited about bringing back locally-grown fresh produce to the neighborhood and we encourage everyone to make our Saturday morning Farmer's Market a part of their weekly routine.
Worship Service is held at 10:30am every Sunday and is followed by our Coffee Fellowship
