First Congregational Church believes each worshipper has the freedom to develop their own relationship with God. As a Congregational church, there is no hierarchy of authority among members. Instead, decisions are made by the members themselves. Boards of Deacons and Trustees have been established to provide guidance, however each member is encouraged to be fully active, participate and vote on important matters to the life of the church.
Our mission is to celebrate God’s love and to build a vibrant and vital church through worship, fellowship, education, service, and outreach in an inclusive and diverse community.
We are affiliated with the United Church of Christ (UCC) which is made up for four traditions that joined together in 1957. The slogan for the UCC is: "God is still speaking - Never place a period where God has placed a comma."
We are also affiliated with the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches (NACCC). The NACCC places great importance on the autonomy of the local church.
Worship Service is held at 10:30am every Sunday and is followed by our Coffee Fellowship
